Rhythm

There is visual and tactile rhythm. You can hear rhythm, texturize rhythm, and make rhythm (all sorts of ways). Growing up I’ve played music from about 4 or 5. Cadences and rhythms are a constant in my mind.

The slow droll of a beat, the smooth tempo of a bridge, or a harsh but delightful break informs my marks. What’s the visual language of rhythm? I’m trying to capture that and get my hands to move in a way to apply a texture or decoration that can sustain and move in a rhythmic way.
